In-person training workshops

Target group: AARTO Training Centre offers a facilitated in-person training workshop on the implications of the AARTO Act for business owners, fleet managers, employees, vehicle operators, drivers and all road users.

Aim: The training program provides easy and accessible guidance to comply with the Act in the workplace and guidance to all road users.

Content: The workshop focuses on the following:

• The AARTO process and the points demerit system.
• Implications for fleet management and drivers and all road users.
• Duties of the business owner as a proxy and consequences of failure to comply with the requirements of the Act and failure to nominate the driver of the vehicle.
• Advice to businesses regarding the practical implementation of fleet management and drivers.

Program duration: This is a one-day course.

Facilitation: The training will be facilitated by Mr. Forrester Schoeman and/or Dr. Sean Kockott, directors of AARTO Training Centre.

Program costs and logistics:

• The cost of training is R 3 350-00 per person.
• Venue and catering to be arranged by client.

Textbooks: The AARTO Act Manual will be available to course participants for purchasing.

Certificates: Delegates receive a Certificate of Attendance from AARTO Training Centre.
